Our beloved therapy horses are the heart of the Making Strides Foundation. Without these special horses, our services would not be possible. These horses and ponies have been thoroughly “vetted” for their inherent kindness, quietness, understanding and compassion. We carefully select our herd to take the best care of our clients.
Caring for these special animals comes with expense. In addition to covering the essentials such as feed, hay, routine veterinary care and farrier (horse-shoeing) services, many of our horses require additional medications, chiropractic care and supplements to keep them happy, healthy and able to do their jobs.
Sponsoring or “Adopting” a therapy horse allows us to continue to provide them with high quality care so that they continue building therapeutic partnerships with children and adults with disabilities.
Half Sponsorship $2,500.00
Sponsorship Recognition on our website, at the farm, and social media platforms, a professional picture of your sponsored horse, and quarterly updates on your horse.
Full Sponsorship $5,000.00
Sponsorship Recognition on our website, at the farm, and social media platforms, a professional picture of your sponsored horse, quarterly updates on your horse, and a farm visit to meet your horse and the staff.
Our mini horses can be sponsored for a full sponsorship of $2,500.00 each.
