4th Annual Summer Showcase Charity Horse Show

Mark your calendars for our 4th Annual Summer Showcase Charity Horse Show taking place July 10-12, 2026 at the Westmoreland County Fairgrounds in Greensburg! This family-friendly event features competitive riding classes, a student competition, concessions, vendors and more—all in support of our mission to provide inclusive equine-assisted services for children and young adults with disabilities.

2026 Show Information

All horses must have a current Coggins presented at registration. Health certificate required and completed within the past 90 days for out of state horses. Click here to view the complete showbill. As a reminder, this horse show benefits our therapeutic riding programs and people with disabilities. The show is run completely by volunteers. Making Strides upholds a zero-tolerance policy for harassment or mistreatment of our volunteers, competitors, judges, horses, vendors, etc. The judge and show committee reserve the right to adjust the showbill as they see fit and have the final say in regard to all rules/regulations at this horse show.

Stall and Camping
Information

Gates will open Friday morning for check-in. Shavings available for pre-order. Horses may NOT be tied to trailers overnight.

2026 fees are as follows:

$70.00 per stall/tack stall for weekend
$9.00 per bag of shavings
$10.00 haul-in horses, paid upon arrival

Camping is limited for a nightly fee of $30 per night. All golf carts on the grounds must be insured.

Stalls and camper hookups reservations must be reserved and paid for prior to show by June 20th.

Sponsorships are essential to helping our clients thrive. Tax-deductible donations help keep the out-of-pocket costs low for the families we serve. We offer various levels of sponsorship to businesses and individuals. Your sponsorship helps support classes, awards, judges’ fees & more!

Sponsorship forms must be completed with payment to reserve your sponsorship. All sponsorships are nonrefundable donations to the Making Strides Foundation.

The Making Strides Foundation provides licensed occupational and speech therapy services and adaptive horseback riding lessons to children and young adults living with disabilities. All proceeds of the Summer Showcase Charity Horse Show directly benefit priority programs at the Making Strides Foundation. The Making Strides Foundation is a 501c3 tax-exempt corporation and all donations are tax deductible.
